On August 21, Bengaluru residents will experience a power outage from 10 am to 4 pm as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) and Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) carry out crucial infrastructure upgrades, transformer repairs, and maintenance work.
The power outage will occur in different areas of the city at various times throughout the day. This maintenance work aims to improve the reliability and efficiency of the electrical infrastructure and may include activities such as line maintenance, cable relocations from overhead to underground, pole relocations, RMU (Ring Main Unit) maintenance, tree trimming, and water supply improvements.
