Bengaluru: Tanveer Rathor, a 21-year-old BSc student from Reva University, was found dead in his PG accommodation at Kattiganahalli, near Yelahanka, on Sunday morning. Rathor, originally from Budgam district in Jammu and Kashmir, was discovered hanging in his room by fellow inmates around 10:30 a.m.
The Yelahanka police have recovered a death note from the scene, in which Rathor stated that he was solely responsible for his death and expressed apologies to his parents. The exact cause of his death is still under investigation. Sources suggest that Rathor may have been struggling with depression following his recent exam results, which were announced on Saturday.
