A 50-year-old carpenter, identified as Jayaram from Udupi, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a lodge in southeastern Bengaluru, the police reported on Monday. Jayaram, who had been staying at the lodge near Koramangala with his brother and a few others while seeking carpentry work in the city, was discovered on Sunday morning.
His body was found hanging in the washroom, and he is survived by his wife, who lives in Udupi. The police have stated that Jayaram was undergoing treatment for health issues. Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death, and further details are being gathered.
