Central Tiffin Room (CTR), renowned for its iconic Dosa dish, has launched an outlet at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). The news was celebrated by Satyaki Raghunath, the Chief Operating Officer of Bengaluru International Airport Limited, who visited the new eatery and shared his excitement on social media. He described his experience as “the best feeling ever” after enjoying a plate of Benne Masala, a popular offering at the establishment.
Raghunath, who grew up in Malleswaram, expressed his joy in a post on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “The best feeling ever – really chuffed to see @ctr1920 outside #T2 at @BLRAirport. As someone who spent all my childhood holidays in Malleswaram, this is just the best feeling. I had my first #BenneMasala today. Delicious!!”
The opening of CTR at Terminal 2’s arrivals area is creating quite a buzz among food lovers, especially since another well-known restaurant, Rameshwaram Cafe, is also set to open at the airport by March. Rameshwaram Cafe will be located in Terminal 1, adding to the anticipation of a “Dosa War” between the two establishments. Food enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting both openings to determine which spot will claim the top spot for the best Dosa.
