Recent Drug Bust in Karnataka
Just last week, Mangaluru police confiscated 37.87 kg of MDMA—an illegal synthetic drug—valued at approximately ₹75 crore. Two individuals of African origin from Bengaluru were arrested in connection with the case.
The rise in drug trafficking cases across Karnataka has prompted strict surveillance at airports and transport hubs, with law enforcement agencies tightening security to curb smuggling networks.
