The footage, shared by the Karnataka Portfolio page on X, reveals the woman falling in a waterlogged area of Varthur, an eastern Bengaluru suburb. Bystanders are seen helping her to her feet and providing her crutches, enabling her to reach her scooter.

The video has sparked widespread criticism of the city’s deteriorating infrastructure. One X post highlighted, “It’s tragic to see Mahadevapura residents suffer, despite paying over ₹1000 crore in taxes.” Many are criticizing local authorities for neglecting public safety and failing to address waterlogging and infrastructure issues.
