Swedish furniture giant Ikea has rolled out its first-ever ‘Plan & Order Point (PaOP)’ in India, and it’s happening in East Bengaluru. The new 740 sq. metre experience centre offers expert consultation for customers to plan their homes—from room layouts to personalised product selections.
At this newly launched format, customers can choose between DIY planning, guided design, or end-to-end solutions that include installation. The entire Ikea home furnishing catalogue will be available, making it easier for Bengalureans to turn their vision into reality.
“This new meeting point helps us understand how people live in their homes,” said Susanne Pulverer, CEO and CSO of Ikea India. She added that Bengaluru is Ikea’s second largest home furnishing market in the country, making it the ideal city for such a strategic launch.
Residents can book free appointments to access design expertise, place orders on-site, and choose delivery methods including home delivery, click & collect, or local partner pick-up. Select items will also be available for immediate purchase, and customers can opt for self-assembly or Ikea’s assembly service.
As East Bengaluru continues to see a boom in both residential and commercial projects, Ikea is tapping into the growing demand for smart, functional, and stylish living solutions.
This move marks Ikea’s deeper commitment to the Indian market and forms part of their omnichannel growth strategy.
