In Bengaluru, centuries from Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti Mandhana, along with Pooja Vastrakar’s clutch final over, helped India women secure a thrilling four-run win against South Africa women in the second ODI, clinching the three-match series 2-0 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. India posted a massive 325/3 in 50 overs, their highest ODI total at home. Harmanpreet (103 off 88 balls) and Smriti (136 off 120 balls) were the stars with the bat.

Despite a strong response from South Africa, led by Laura Wolvaardt (135* off 135 balls) and Marizanne Kapp (114 off 94 balls), Vastrakar held her nerve in the final over, taking two crucial wickets to restrict the visitors to 321/6.
