Bengaluru has become home to India’s first women-only club, Miss and Mrs, located on Bannerghatta Road. This groundbreaking venue offers an exclusive and safe space for women, operated entirely by female staff, including DJs and service personnel. Designed to create a judgment-free environment, the club allows women to enjoy music, socialize, and celebrate without concerns about safety.

A video by Instagram user Deepanshi Singh brought the club into the limelight, showcasing its vibrant ambiance. The venue features music, snacks, pizza, wine, beer, champagne, and a nail art section. A standout promotion offers unlimited beer and snacks for ₹300 during the first hour, doubling in price thereafter.

Deepanshi’s video has gone viral, with over 8.4 million views, 193,000 likes, and 218,000 shares, igniting both praise and debate. Many women applauded the initiative, with one commenting, “Finally, a place where girls can dance freely without fear!” However, some questioned the exclusivity, labeling it discriminatory.

Miss and Mrs addresses safety concerns that often deter women from nightlife in India. By fostering a harassment-free atmosphere, the club empowers women to embrace their individuality. Globally, similar women-only spaces have faced legal challenges over gender discrimination, but the success of Miss and Mrs underscores the strong demand for such spaces in India.
