A disturbing email threatening Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar has prompted a high-level investigation by the police. The email, reportedly from an individual using the alias “Sindar Rajput,” contained graphic threats, claiming the leaders would be murdered and their bodies placed in a refrigerator and trolley bag.

In the message, Rajput alleged he had lent Rs 1 crore to a man named Prabhakar from Rampura, who has failed to return the sum. According to the email, the money is allegedly kept at Prabhakar’s wife’s and parents’ homes. His wife, Nadini, and their two children—including a recently married son—were also mentioned.

The sender warned that if the money wasn’t returned, he would harm the state’s top Congress leaders instead of Prabhakar, claiming the latter had no current source of income and hinting he had earlier considered killing him.

In response, an FIR has been filed, and authorities have launched a manhunt to locate the sender and assess the credibility of the threat. The email has raised concerns about the security of state leaders and is being treated with utmost seriousness.
