Bengaluru witnessed a tragic accident on Wednesday night when a high-speed collision on the Hebbal flyover resulted in the death of a local businessman. The incident occurred around 9:45 pm near the traffic police kiosk on the flyover.

The deceased, identified as Lokesh (41), was a resident of Venkatapura, Koramangala, and originally from Tumakuru. According to the Hebbal traffic police, Lokesh was traveling from Yelahanka towards the city when a speeding tempo truck collided with his motorcycle. The impact caused Lokesh to fall to the right side of the road.

Tragically, the speeding tempo continued moving without stopping and ran over Lokesh, leading to his immediate death. The driver of the tempo has yet to be identified, and an investigation is underway to locate and apprehend the individual responsible for this fatal incident.

Lokesh is survived by his wife and a 10-month-old child. The accident has brought significant grief to his family and the local community. The police are urging anyone with information about the tempo truck or the driver to come forward as they continue their investigation.
