A 42-year-old man from London has successfully recovered from a complex dental condition after undergoing specialised treatment at Happiest Pearls Dental Clinic in Bengaluru, highlighting the city’s growing reputation as a destination for advanced and affordable healthcare.

John Miller travelled from the United Kingdom seeking treatment for cysts around his upper front teeth, a condition that had weakened the surrounding jawbone and significantly affected his oral health and daily life.

Six-week treatment restored function and confidence

Under the care of Dr Samuel Shadrack Surender, Deputy Director of Happiest Pearls Dental Clinic, Miller underwent a carefully planned treatment programme lasting approximately six weeks.

Doctors diagnosed cysts around his upper front teeth that had caused bone loss in the affected area. The treatment involved the surgical removal of the cysts, bone grafting using bovine bone material, root canal procedures to eliminate infection and the placement of customised zirconia crowns to restore both appearance and function.

The multidisciplinary approach aimed not only to treat the underlying condition but also to preserve the patient’s natural teeth and rebuild the weakened jaw structure.

Patient chose Bengaluru for expertise and affordability

According to the clinic, Miller explored several treatment options before choosing Bengaluru for its combination of specialised expertise, advanced technology and cost-effective healthcare services.

Following the treatment, he was able to return to normal activities such as eating, speaking and smiling comfortably, activities that had become increasingly difficult before the procedure.

Sharing his experience, Miller expressed gratitude to Dr Samuel Shadrack Surender, Dr Sarah Isaac and the nursing team for their support throughout his treatment journey.

Growing confidence in India’s dental care sector

Dr Samuel Shadrack Surender said the case required meticulous planning and a multidisciplinary approach to ensure long-term success.

He noted that restoring both oral function and patient confidence remains a key objective in complex reconstructive dental procedures.

The successful outcome also reflects the increasing trust international patients place in India’s healthcare sector, particularly for specialised dental and reconstructive treatments.
