In a recent incident in Bengaluru, a man has been booked by the Shivajinagar police after allegedly flashing and making obscene gestures at a woman. The accused, identified as Karthik, reportedly engaged in this behavior on the night of April 13 around 10:30 pm. According to the woman, who lives in the same locality as Karthik, she was preparing to go to bed when he exposed himself and made lewd gestures from his house next door. She immediately informed her husband about the incident.
The woman’s relative, Ravindra, rushed to the location after hearing about the altercation between the neighbors and Karthik. He was notified of the event by the woman’s husband. When Ravindra confronted Karthik’s father, Venkatesh, regarding his son’s inappropriate actions, Venkatesh allegedly defended Karthik’s behavior, claiming that he behaves however he likes.
The situation escalated further when Karthik, upon being reprimanded for his conduct, picked up a hollow block and threw it at Ravindra, injuring him. Karthik then hurled additional bricks and flower pots at others present at the scene, causing further injuries. As of now, neither Karthik nor his father have been arrested, although the police have initiated a case against them.
