The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) has made a smashing entry into the ready-to-cook market with its Nandini dosa-idli batter, capturing the hearts of Bengalureans. Within just three days of its launch, the product has achieved phenomenal success, with unprecedented sales figures.
Over 2.25 metric tons of the batter have been snapped up in the past 72 hours alone, showcasing its immense popularity. A key factor driving this demand is the batter’s unique composition, featuring 5% whey protein, which appeals to health-conscious buyers. Customers who try the product are returning in droves for more, proving its exceptional quality.
In response to surging demand, KMF is ramping up production and delivery capabilities. Currently, 5-6 vehicles are assigned to supply the batter across Bengaluru, but plans are underway to add 18 more vehicles to the distribution fleet.
Nandini’s dosa-idli batter is rapidly becoming a household name, joining the ranks of its iconic milk and curd products. Buoyed by the overwhelming reception in Bengaluru, KMF is now strategizing to introduce the batter to other districts, aiming to replicate its success across Karnataka.
This meteoric rise underscores KMF’s ability to innovate and cater to evolving consumer preferences while maintaining its trusted quality.
