Bengaluru: A unique employee reward celebration by Bengaluru-based proptech firm NoBroker has gone viral after its founder and CEO Amit Kumar Agarwal rode a brand-new scooter through the office before handing it over to a deserving employee.
The light-hearted celebration, shared by Agarwal on social media, marked one of the best-performing quarters for the company’s Packers and Movers division, earning praise online for its emphasis on employee recognition and teamwork.
CEO leads celebration with a scooter ride
In a video posted on X, Agarwal is seen riding the scooter through the office as employees lined both sides of the workspace, cheering, clapping and capturing the moment. The cheerful atmosphere continued as the scooter was later presented to the employee who had earned it through the company’s rewards programme.
Sharing the video, Agarwal joked that he had “a very important job that day – ride a scooty,” adding that the occasion deserved more than a routine prize distribution.
Success built on teamwork
Reflecting on the milestone, Agarwal credited the achievement to the collective efforts of multiple teams across the organisation.
He said the sales team brought in customers, the servicing team ensured a smooth customer experience, while the partner management team kept operations running efficiently behind the scenes.
According to the CEO, removing any one of these teams would have prevented the company from achieving its targets.

Agarwal said the best way to thank employees was not through a formal ceremony but by celebrating alongside them.
“The best way to say ‘thank you’ isn’t a formal ceremony. It’s showing up looking a little silly, for people who showed up brilliantly every single day,” he wrote.
He clarified that after taking a brief celebratory ride around the office, the scooter was handed over to its rightful winner.
