Bengaluru: The Renukaswamy murder case has taken a fresh turn with accused Pradosh reportedly seeking to become an approver and offering to disclose information he claims to possess about the circumstances surrounding the death.
In his reported mercy or pardon-witness application, Pradosh has claimed that he did not want Renukaswamy to be killed and that he attempted to stop the assault. He has alleged that other accused had already decided to kill the victim and ignored his requests to stop the attack.
The claims made in the application have not been established in court. The court and investigating authorities will have to examine Pradosh’s allegations and determine their evidentiary value before they can be treated as facts.
Pradosh claims he opposed assault
According to details reportedly contained in the application, Pradosh has claimed that he repeatedly asked the others not to continue assaulting Renukaswamy.
