During a surprise visit to the Channapatna taluk office, Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda expressed significant dissatisfaction with the office’s conditions and the handling of public complaints. Minister Gowda listened to complaints from the public, which included accusations of corrupt practices and inefficiencies that had left some individuals distressed. He took immediate action by reprimanding SDM Binoy, Tehsildar Narasimhamurthy, and other officials for their negligence and failure to address public concerns effectively.

The inspection also revealed discrepancies in official documents, further fueling the minister’s frustration. Gowda condemned the officials’ lack of diligence and criticized their overall approach to their duties. He stressed that disruptions to public services would not be tolerated and vowed to take corrective measures to restore public confidence.
