Salman Khan, a 28-year-old rowdy-sheeter with six criminal cases against him, was killed on Tuesday in Siddapura, Bengaluru, by his wife’s relatives after he allegedly threatened to kill their 20-day-old baby during a domestic dispute.
The altercation, which occurred early in the morning, escalated when relatives tried to intervene. Khan was attacked with a wooden plank, rod, and knife. He succumbed to his injuries hours later at Nimhans.
Police have arrested three suspects—Ansar (40), Umar (25), and Shoaib (25)—in connection with the murder. The incident follows a heated argument on Monday night, during which Khan reportedly set a neighbor’s vehicle on fire and clashed with his wife.
The case is under investigation as authorities gather further details.
