The Byadarahalli police have launched an investigation after a school bus driver was allegedly assaulted in western Bengaluru.

Incident Details

The victim, Suresh (33), a resident of Chikkagollarahatti, was driving his school bus in Byadarahalli on March 14 when he encountered a group of six individuals playing Holi on Ragimilla Road. The suspects, reportedly employees of a water bottle company, were throwing colours on passersby, causing public nuisance.

Attack on the Driver

Despite Suresh honking to clear the way, the group refused to move, and one of them threw a stone at the bus. When Suresh confronted them, they allegedly assaulted and abused him.

Police Action

The Byadarahalli police have registered a case and issued notices to the six accused. Authorities have confirmed that further investigation is ongoing.
