Bengaluru’s Ashok Nagar police have arrested seven individuals linked to the brutal murder of rowdy-sheeter Hyder Ali on February 23. The prime accused, Nayaz Pasha, a known offender with eight prior cases, allegedly orchestrated the attack due to a long-standing rivalry.

The Attack

Ali was returning home to Anepalya around 1:15 am after attending a party when he was ambushed near Bangalore Football Stadium. A car with assailants lay in wait, while another group trailed him from the bar on motorcycles. As they struck, Ali’s friend—riding the bike—was injured and forced away. The attackers then hacked Ali with machetes, leaving him fatally wounded. He was declared dead at Bowring Hospital.

Police Investigation

Ali had a criminal record dating back to 2014, including 11 cases of attempted murder, assault, and drug-related offences. Special police teams analyzed CCTV footage and gathered intelligence, leading to the swift arrest of the suspects.
