A devastating road accident on the Bengaluru-Mysuru expressway service road claimed three lives and left three others severely injured near Channapatna in Ramanagara district on Thursday morning.

The incident occurred around 10 AM at the Tittamaranahalli bypass when a speeding truck collided with a car carrying five passengers. The impact was fatal, killing three individuals instantly.

The deceased have been identified as Shivaprakash (37) from Bengaluru, Puttagowramma (72), and Shivarathna (50) from Mangadhalli in Channapatna. Two other passengers, Nataraju (42) and Suma (36), sustained serious injuries, along with the van driver, Nagesh.

Emergency responders rushed the injured to a nearby hospital, while the deceased were moved to the Channapatna Government Hospital mortuary. Authorities are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
