Bengaluru: A three-vehicle collision on the Hebbal flyover near GKVK on Wednesday evening led to massive traffic congestion during peak hours, leaving hundreds of commuters stranded in long queues.

According to the police, the accident occurred at around 5.30 pm and involved three vehicles, including two cars, which sustained damage in the collision.

Personnel from the Yelahanka Traffic Police rushed to the accident spot soon after receiving information.

The damaged vehicles were removed from the flyover, following which traffic movement gradually returned to normal.

No injuries or fatalities were reported in the incident.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the collision.

Officials are examining the circumstances that led to the crash and have urged motorists to exercise caution, particularly during peak-hour traffic on the city’s busy roads.
