In preparation for the construction of Phase 2A of the Namma Metro, a composite steel girder will be installed over the railway line at Doddanekundi. As a result, there will be certain traffic restrictions on Monday and Tuesday, affecting vehicle movement on the Outer Ring Road (ORR).

From 9 pm to 6 am, inbound traffic towards K R Puram will be restricted, and a two-way traffic system will be implemented on the opposite side of the road. Additionally, for a stretch of 200 meters, traffic on the left side of the road between metro pillar numbers 434-435 (from Marathahalli to Tin Factory) will be diverted.

For commuters traveling from Marathahalli to Tin Factory and Hebbal, they should take a left turn near the Marathahalli flyover, continue via Old Airport Road, and at the Suranjan Das Road Junction, turn right to reach NGEF Junction. From there, another right turn will guide them towards Tin Factory and Hebbal.

Meanwhile, those traveling from Tin Factory to Marathahalli should take a left near KR Puram railway station, proceed via ITPL Road, then turn right at Hoodi Junction and continue via Kundalahalli to reach Marathahalli.

These alternative routes will help ease congestion during the necessary construction works.
