Bengaluru: A woman has alleged that she was sexually harassed by an unidentified man while waiting for a cab in Ramamurthy Nagar. The incident, which she shared on social media, has sparked concerns over women’s safety in public spaces and prompted calls for action against the accused.
According to the woman’s account, the individual was riding a vehicle bearing the registration number KA03 KQ6190. She alleged that the man made inappropriate remarks, propositioned her for money and behaved in a manner that left her feeling intimidated and unsafe.
Woman recounts alleged harassment
In her post, the woman said she was simply waiting for her cab when the man allegedly approached her and made objectionable comments.
She stated that no woman should have to face such treatment while using public spaces and said the accused’s words were disrespectful and frightening.
The woman said the incident made her fear for her safety and highlighted the emotional impact of such behaviour on women.
Appeal for action
Sharing the incident publicly, she urged the concerned authorities to identify the individual and take appropriate legal action.
