Bride’s Wedding Halted in Rajasthan After Alleged Blackmail and Rape Claim
In a shocking turn of events, a groom’s father halted his son’s wedding to a 23-year-old woman from Churu, Rajasthan, after receiving an obscene video of the bride. The wedding, scheduled for November 10 in Sikar, was called off after the groom’s family was shown the video, allegedly sent by a man named Zeeshan.
According to the bride, during her time studying in Surat, Zeeshan had stalked and raped her, later blackmailing her by threatening to release manipulated and inappropriate photos of her. The groom’s family, upon receiving the video, raised concerns about her character, leading to the cancellation of the wedding.
The bride’s grandfather reportedly confronted her, and she shared the traumatic details of her ordeal. The Churu police have registered a zero-number FIR and transferred the case to Surat for further investigation.
