A woman shared her experience on X, the former Twitter, after placing an order for her kids on Swiggy. A user named Neha S reported that the delivery agent assigned by food delivery aggregator Swiggy did not show up. The mother disclosed that her children were ultimately forced to eat Maggi noodles.
“I ordered something from Swiggy. The order is still pending. “Mere pas time nahi hai jo karna hai kar lo nahi le kar aunga order,” said your delivery boy, turning down the order. Where should I go right now?” Neha S (@Neha_ns9999) made a post on X. The woman ordered a vada pav and a roll.
Dear @Swiggy @SwiggyCares
I have ordered something from swiggy.
I have not received the order.
Your delivery boy denied to deliver the order and saying 'mere pas time nahi hai jo karna hai kar lo nahi le kar aunga order'

After Neha’s post went viral, the company immediately issued a refund.
Swiggy clarified in response to the widely shared tweet that the issue was handled over the phone. The business posted: “@Neha_ns9999 I hope the team can resolve this over the phone. In case you need us for anything, we’re here to help:)”
In response to the post, some internet users noted that the delivery agent’s name was the same as India cricket captain Rohit Sharma’s, while others claimed that the user paid ₹ 100 for vada pav, which is readily available for ₹ 15 on the street.
“Buying Vada Pav at 100 bucks is a crime and sin and you paying for it,” wrote a user on X.
Another user wrote, “On a lighter note Rohit Sharma has already delivered a win for India today (February 5).”
“This kind of thing is common in Swiggy and had been happening fort years, delivery guys marking the order delivered/cancelled and then running off with the food, while swiggy tells you that you cancelled the order and makes you pay for it,” the third user wrote.
