India’s foreign exchange reserves up at $371 bn

Chennai: India’s foreign exchange reserves went up to $371.27 billion as on September 9, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) announced.
According to data released by the RBI, the reserves stood at $371.27 billion as on September 9, as against $367.76 billion as on Sep 2.

On September 9, the foreign currency assets stood at $344.74 billion, gold at $21.64 billion, special drawing rights at $1.49 billion and the reserve position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at $2.39 billion.

The reserves as on September 2 comprised of foreign currency assets at $342.23 billion, gold at $21.64 billion, special drawing rights at $1.48 billion and the reserve position in the International Monetary Fund (IMF) at $2.39 billion.
