Influencer-turned-entrepreneur Diipa Büller-Khosla is celebrating a major victory as her beauty brand, indē wild, has raised $5 million in funding, with Unilever Ventures leading the investment round. The India-born influencer took to Instagram to call this achievement a defining moment in her mission to establish a global Indian beauty brand.

Launched in 2021, indē wild fuses Ayurvedic principles with modern skincare science, a concept Khosla describes as “Ayurvedistry.” Initially, investors dismissed the brand as too niche, but its rapid success has silenced skeptics. “Thanks to you, we proved them wrong,” she told her followers.

The funding will fuel indē wild’s expansion, with a major milestone ahead—its launch at Sephora in the U.S. Khosla emphasized her vision of making the brand feel at home in Mumbai, New York, and London alike.

The brand’s meteoric rise is reflected in its sales figures, achieving 400% year-over-year growth in India and 500% in global retail. It now sells one product every minute, becoming the fastest-growing premium hair and skincare brand on Nykaa and Tira.

Alongside Unilever Ventures, existing investors SoGal Ventures and True also contributed to the funding round. As indē wild prepares to enter the U.S. market, Khosla’s journey stands as a testament to persistence and innovation in the beauty industry.
