Apple has launched the iPhone 18 Pro in India, with the premium smartphone available in four storage options and four finishes. Pre-orders will open on September 12, with sales beginning on September 18.

The new Pro model starts at ₹1,64,900 and reaches ₹3,14,900 for the top-end 2TB version, making it one of Apple’s most expensive mainstream smartphones in India.

Four storage options cover different budgets

The 256GB iPhone 18 Pro is priced at ₹1,64,900, while the 512GB model costs ₹1,89,900. Customers seeking greater storage can choose the 1TB variant for ₹2,39,900.

The flagship 2TB version carries a price of ₹3,14,900.

Apple says eligible buyers can get monthly EMI payments starting at ₹26,316 when applicable instant cashback and No Cost EMI offers are considered.

Trade-in can reduce the purchase price

Apple is also offering its Trade In programme for the new handset. Customers exchanging an eligible existing device can receive between ₹4,500 and ₹81,500 in trade-in credit.

The actual value depends on the model being exchanged and its condition, giving existing iPhone and other smartphone users an opportunity to reduce the effective cost of upgrading.

Camera and performance get a major upgrade

The iPhone 18 Pro comes in Burgundy, Glacier, Silver and Black finishes. It features a 48-megapixel Pro Fusion camera system with Main, Ultra Wide and Telephoto cameras, along with variable aperture, macro photography and enhanced low-light video.

The device is powered by Apple’s A20 Pro chip and promises up to 43 hours of video playback. It also features an 18-megapixel Center Stage front camera, Camera Control and an Action button.

The phone supports Apple Intelligence and Siri AI, while its video capabilities include Dolby Vision recording at up to 4K and 120fps.

With pre-orders opening at 5:30 pm IST on September 12, customers will have to decide whether the new features justify the premium price before sales begin on September 18.
