Nasi and Mee has opened its largest restaurant yet on Convent Road, Bengaluru, marking a milestone in its decade-long journey since launching in 2015. This flagship standalone outlet is the brand’s fifth in Bengaluru and eighth in South India.
Designed as a hidden underwater cave, the 100-seater space immerses diners in a marine paradise, with corals, oceanic hues, and striking light fixtures shaped like tiger sharks and jellyfish. The décor draws inspiration from Southeast Asia’s famed diving spots, from Indonesia’s Raja Ampat to Malaysia’s Sipadan. Lush greenery and an open-air seating area further enhance the tropical ambiance.
To celebrate this grand opening, the brand has revived its Asian breakfast menu through the Shiok Breakfast Club. The menu features Southeast Asian morning staples like N&M Kaya Toast with homemade kaya jam, N&M Fren-Cha Toast topped with matcha foam, and the bold X.O. Benedict with poached eggs and X.O. Chilli.
“Nasi and Mee is about authenticity and evolution. This new space not only elevates dining but marks our next phase of growth,” said founder Ravi Nahappan. Co-founder Dilip Krishnan added, “Our Koramangala outlet set the tone, and this flagship continues our vision of experiential dining, from omakase to breakfast.”
