Luxury fashion house Prada has unveiled Infusion de Santal Chai, a new fragrance from its Les Infusions line, blending creamy sandalwood with a spicy chai latte accord.
Priced at $190, the perfume comes in a minimalist brown glass bottle and features notes of sandalwood, cardamom, citrus and warm spices, positioning itself as a “cozy luxury” scent inspired by comfort and refinement.
The launch comes a year after Prada faced criticism over a Kolhapuri chappal-related controversy, making the India-inspired naming and notes of the fragrance a point of discussion among fashion and fragrance watchers.
Marketed as part of Prada’s sophisticated Les Infusions collection, Infusion de Santal Chai aims to balance warmth and elegance, tapping into global interest in spice-forward, comforting scents.
