Mangaluru is set for a major retail upgrade with the anticipated opening of Rohan Mall in Kulshekar by late 2025. Developed by Rohan Corporation, this upcoming shopping destination is expected to revolutionize retail for both the city and neighboring areas.
Spanning 6.25 acres, the mall will encompass a built-up area of 3 lakh square feet, with 2.2 lakh square feet dedicated to retail space. To handle the influx of shoppers, three levels of underground parking will be provided.
Alongside retail outlets, the development will also feature 2.5 lakh square feet of office space for IT firms, as well as a 100-room, three-star business hotel with banquet facilities. This venture marks Rohan Corporation’s first entry into the mall sector, having previously focused on residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
“Rohan Mall is designed to attract not just Mangaluru shoppers but also those from nearby towns like Karkala, Moodbidri, Ullal, and Mulki, creating a regional shopping hub,” stated Vijetha Girish, vice president of design and leasing at Pioneer Property Zone (PPZ). PPZ, in partnership with Black Key Inc, is managing leasing for the mall.
Positioned as a destination for value and factory outlets, Rohan Mall will house popular brands across apparel, accessories, sports, beauty, food, and entertainment. The mall will feature a hypermarket, four-screen multiplex, and two family entertainment centers, spread across three floors.
With interest from various brands, the mall promises to elevate Mangaluru’s retail landscape.
