A viral meme is sweeping social media, with users claiming that flipping Tesla’s logo upside down reveals a disturbing resemblance to a Ku Klux Klan (KKK) hood. TikTok user @thedisciplinedfatkid first highlighted the observation on March 31, urging viewers to “never unsee this” as he inverted the stylized ‘T’ emblem.

Tesla’s logo, inspired by a cross-section of an electric motor, is meant to honor inventor Nikola Tesla. However, the flipped version has sparked widespread debate, with users on X (formerly Twitter) reacting in shock. “Now no one can unsee the Klan,” one person remarked, while another posted, “Somebody pointed this out, and I just can’t unsee it.”

The meme gained traction shortly after rapper Kanye West, a vocal Trump supporter, appeared in a black KKK-like outfit for an interview with DJ Akademiks. His controversial attire, coupled with a swastika pendant, added fuel to the online discourse.

Meanwhile, Tesla is already under public scrutiny. Protests against Elon Musk’s leadership have erupted across the U.S., particularly over his cost-cutting measures under the Trump administration. As the newly appointed chief of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Musk has been responsible for significant budget reductions in various government agencies, further intensifying the backlash.
