Mangaluru: National Service Scheme unit along with the Youth Red Cross Unit of Padua College of Commerce and Management in collaboration with Fr Muller Medical College Hospital, JCI Lalbagh, and Lions Club, Ashoknagar organised a Blood donation camp. This was held on Saturday, 13th February, at Padua College Auditorium from 9 am to 1 pm.
Rev Fr Maxim Rosario, Diocesan Estate Manager was the Chief Guest on this occasion. The President of JCI, Lalbagh, JC Prashanth B Shetty welcomed the gathering at the inaugural program. Both the Chief guest, Rev Fr Maxim Rosario and the President, Rev Fr Alwin Serrao – Principal of Padua College of Commerce and Management, spoke about the importance of blood donation.
The President of Lions Club, Ashoknagar, Prajwala, proposed the Vote of Thanks. 112 NSS volunteers were present for the inaugural program. Prof. Roshan Santhumayor, the NSS Coordinator was present on the chair. A total of 84 donors came forward to donate their blood.
