State Guarantee Scheme Implementation Committee Vice President Pushpa Amaranath announced that Chamarajanagar district ranks first in executing the five guarantee schemes. Addressing the media on Thursday, she highlighted that taluk-level review meetings are held monthly to track progress. A door-to-door awareness campaign is also planned to ensure wider reach.
Amaranath criticized the BJP for opposing the implementation committee, pointing out that in Maharashtra, the BJP-led government itself monitors schemes through party workers. She accused the opposition of politicizing the issue rather than focusing on governance.
Regarding the pending Gruha Lakshmi payments, she assured that the amount for the last three months will be disbursed in phases.
