A shocking shooting incident unfolded in Magaalu village, Khandhya hobli, Chikkamagaluru, where a man opened fire on his family, killing three before taking his own life.
The accused, Rathnakara, worked as a school vehicle driver in Kadabagere. The victims included his mother-in-law Jyothi (50), daughter Maulya (6), and sister-in-law Nadini Sindhu (24). Nadini’s husband sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and is receiving medical treatment.
The incident occurred around 10 PM on Tuesday. Reports suggest Rathnakara recorded a video before the attack, alleging that his family deceived him and that his wife had left him two years ago.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and launched an investigation into the motive behind this horrific act.
