In a heartbreaking incident in Hanumapura village, Molkalmuru taluk, Chitradurga, 12-year-old Ramachandra lost his life while attempting to rescue a pigeon trapped in an electric wire. The tragic event occurred on Tuesday evening.
Ramachandra, a class six student at the local government higher primary school, noticed the pigeon in distress and decided to help. In his effort to free the bird, he climbed an electric pole. Unfortunately, while trying to rescue the pigeon, he came into contact with a live wire and was electrocuted.
The villagers were deeply shocked and saddened by the incident. Ramachandra’s parents, friends, and relatives are devastated by the loss of the young boy, whose act of kindness ended in tragedy.
Rampura police sub-inspector Mahesh Hosapete visited the village and has since filed a case regarding the accident. The community is mourning the loss of a compassionate and courageous young boy whose life was cut short by a tragic accident.
