Dubai, UAE: The youth wing of the Konkani Catholic community, Konkan Yuva, under the patronage of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Dubai, has announced the first-ever Yuva Olympics 2025, a grand one-day sports festival celebrating community spirit, athletic excellence, and cultural unity. The event will take place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Springdales School, Al Quoz, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Together We Play, Together We Rise

Guided by the theme “Together We Play, Together We Rise,” the Yuva Olympics 2025 aims to unite Konkani youth across the UAE through friendly competition and fellowship. The event promises an exhilarating mix of sportsmanship, music, and cultural celebration, making it one of the most anticipated community gatherings of the year.

The Yuva Olympics 2025 will feature a full day of athletic events, entertainment, and community activities designed for all age groups.

Event at a Glance

  • Opening Ceremony: A spectacular Brass Band procession and a grand March Past showcasing all participating teams.

  • Track Events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m (Women), 1500m (Men), and Mixed Relay.

  • Field Events: Long Jump, Shot Put.

  • Special Team Challenges: Tug of War (7-member teams).

  • Signature Highlight: CrossFit Obstacle Race (individual category).

  • Community Experience: Food stalls, live DJ performances, and interactive spot games.

  • Awards & Closing: Crowning of the first-ever Yuva Olympics Champions in Dubai.

    • Participation Guidelines

    To ensure competitive balance and inclusivity, the Yuva Olympics will include three age categories:

    • 18–28 years

  • 29–38 years

  • 39 years and above

    • Each team must have a minimum of 16 members. Registration closes on Sunday, October 12, 2025, and early registration is encouraged due to limited slots.
