Mangaluru: “Vojem Utsav 2024,” organized by St Lawrence Church and Shrine, Bondel, Mangalore, in collaboration with the social service organization Sangati Mangalore, will start at Vamanjoor Church at 11 am on Sunday, May 19, 2024.
Rev. Fr James D’Souza, Parish Priest of Vamanjoor Church, Rev. Fr Andrew Leo D’Souza, Parish Priest of Bondel Church; Rev. Fr William D’Souza, Assistant Priest of Bondel Church; Rev. Fr Peter Gonsalves, Principal of St Lawrence English Medium School, Bondel; James Mendonca, NRI Entrepreneur; Elron Rodrigues, young entrepreneur; Vencita Dias, young actress; Joan D’Silva, Vice President of St Lawrence Church Council; and Mitesh D’Souza, President of ICYM, Mangalore Diocese, will participate in the inauguration ceremony as the esteemed guests of honour.
Several teams comprising 25 members each from the city and suburbs will participate in this festival.
Food courts will be open for the gathering, says Vishalin Shanti Saldanha, President of the organization.
