
Harassment Over False Lottery Win Rumours: Tailor Sets Record Straight
Uppinangady: Koosappa, a tailor working near Ganapathi Math on Car Street, has been subjected to harassment due to false rumours circulating on social media. Miscreants spread news claiming Koosappa won Rs one crore in the Kerala state lottery, with reports stating he received Rs 70 lakh after tax deductions.
In reality, Koosappa clarified to the media that these claims were entirely fabricated. He expressed deep frustration over the situation, stating, “Some miscreants have made a mockery of me. I am exhausted from answering numerous phone calls where people congratulate me and seek financial assistance.”
The tailor’s ordeal highlights the harmful consequences of misinformation and the impact it can have on individuals’ lives. Koosappa, who has not received any lottery prize, continues to face unwarranted attention and inconvenience due to the false propaganda.
