In a violent incident in Someshwara Nagar, Bengaluru, a 31-year-old man named Syed Isaq was attacked and hacked to death with sharp weapons early Saturday morning. The assault, which occurred between 3 and 4 AM, is believed to be related to Isaq’s alleged illicit relationship with a married woman.

The police have detained two suspects in connection with the murder: Venkatesh, 34, and Ajay, 31. Venkatesh, known as a rowdy sheeter, and Ajay were reportedly connected through a mutual friend and had a dispute with Isaq over the victim’s relationship with the woman, who is associated with one of the suspects. The altercation escalated into a violent attack with machetes and daggers.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) South Lokesh B Jagalasar confirmed that the motive behind the murder was linked to this illicit relationship. The suspects have been apprehended, and a case has been registered at the Siddapura police station. The investigation is ongoing.

DCP Jagalasar noted that Isaq, Venkatesh, and Ajay were familiar with each other from the same locality and had a prior confrontation. Last year, the trio was involved in an assault on a shopkeeper, leading to their arrest on charges of attempted murder.
