In a tragic turn of events, new details have surfaced in the murder of Balakrishna (44) from Marne village, Ajekar, revealing an alleged conspiracy involving his wife, Prathima, and her lover, Dilip Hegde. Balakrishna, who had recently returned home after extensive treatment for an illness, was found unresponsive by his father on October 20.
Investigations reveal that Prathima, a beauty parlour owner, met Dilip on Instagram, and their friendship escalated into an affair. Reports suggest Dilip supplied poison to Prathima, which she allegedly used to worsen Balakrishna’s health. On October 20, the duo reportedly suffocated him with a bedsheet.
Both suspects are now in police custody as investigations progress.
