BENGALURU: A captivating video showcasing the Crystal Hall, a striking glass house nestled in Angalapura, Bengaluru, has taken the internet by storm. Designed by the renowned architect Thomas Abraham, this 30-foot-tall, two-story glass house has earned widespread acclaim for its visionary design and seamless integration with nature.

Content creator Priyam Saraswat recently shared a mesmerizing tour of the property, highlighting its unique features and ecological significance. The Crystal Hall spans approximately 850 square meters and is surrounded by lush orchards and woods, creating a thriving ecosystem that supports local wildlife.

Innovative and Sustainable Design

One of the standout aspects of the Crystal Hall is its use of residential windmill towers that generate backup power and feed excess energy into the grid. The building’s double-layered, high-performance glass envelope provides excellent thermal insulation, reducing the need for artificial heating and cooling. Inside, the house features a stunning sunken living room, a well-like swimming pool, a grand gall, a dining space, a bedroom with panoramic views, and a beautiful terrace.

The video also highlights a lion sculpture inspired by the Narnia series, adding a touch of whimsical charm to the property. Throughout the tour, Mr. Abraham shares his insights into the design process and the ideas behind this eco-friendly and aesthetically stunning creation.
