Indian chess reached a historic milestone as D Gukesh was crowned the 2024 World Chess Champion, becoming the youngest undisputed champion ever. This remarkable achievement also marks him as the 18th World Champion in chess history. Gukesh’s rise to the top has been strongly supported by the WestBridge-Anand Chess Academy (WACA), a collaboration between WestBridge Capital and legendary Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand.
