Dr. Sushanth Rai Bellipady Elected as Member of Veterinary Council of India

Dr. Sushanth Rai Bellipady, former president of the Karnataka Poultry Farmers and Breeders Association (KPFBA) and managing director of M/s Raisons Nutritions, has been elected as a member of the Veterinary Council of India (VCI). The online election held by VCI on June 8 saw Dr. Sushanth Rai securing enough votes among 93 candidates nationwide.

Dr. Sushanth Rai’s career highlights include leadership roles at KPFBA, where he served as president for four years and vice president for two years. He was instrumental in establishing the KVAFSU-KPFBA Poultry Training Centre and Diagnostic Laboratory, contributing significantly to the poultry industry.

Having graduated in Veterinary Science from the Veterinary College, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bengaluru, Dr. Sushanth Rai brings over two decades of experience in the poultry sector. His expertise includes providing technical support and management training to farmers, facilitating the growth of successful poultry farms.
