Bearys Institutes host session on AI skills for future employability

Mangaluru: Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) and Bearys Institute of Emerging Sciences (BIES) organised an interactive session on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Skills for the Future of Work on Wednesday, 4 December 2024. The session emphasised equipping youth with essential AI skills to meet the rising demands of a tech-driven workforce.

Focus on AI skills and future readiness

The session highlighted the importance of AI across industries, addressing the need for inclusive and equitable access to AI education and skill training. Discussions included practical insights into enhancing employability and lifelong learning in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Keynote and insights

The Guest of Honour and Resource Person, Mr Mohammed Ali Roomi from Bearys Group, called on the faculty, research scholars, and stakeholders to integrate AI education into academic curricula equitably. He also stressed promoting continuous upskilling through industry-academia partnerships.

“AI is no longer a luxury but a necessity for every field. Equipping students with advanced AI skills is the way forward for creating sustainable job markets and fostering innovation,” said Mr Roomi.
