The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 results for 2025, with an overall pass percentage of 93.66%. This marks a slight increase of 0.06% from 2024. A total of 23.71 lakh students appeared for the exams, conducted from February 15 to March 18, out of which 22.21 lakh passed.

Girls have once again outperformed boys, with a 95% pass rate compared to 92.63% for boys.

The Trivandrum region led the performance charts with a staggering 99.79% pass percentage, followed by Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Pune. On the other hand, Guwahati recorded the lowest performance with 84.14%.

Notably, more than 1.99 lakh students scored above 90%, while over 45,000 crossed the 95% mark. However, around 1.41 lakh candidates have been placed in the compartment category.

Students can access their results through official CBSE websites — cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in — as well as via DigiLocker and UMANG app, using their roll number, school number, and admit card ID.

In a move to ease pressure on students, CBSE has continued its policy of not announcing a merit list or declaring national toppers, promoting healthy learning and all-round development.

Re-evaluation and compartment exam details are available on the CBSE portal. The board encourages schools to support students with career guidance during this transition.
