Mangaluru, Jun 16: In an inspiring and rare occurrence, two childhood friends have achieved remarkable success by securing the first and second ranks in the postgraduate section of Mangalore University. Bhagyalaxmi and Shilpa, who have been inseparable since their Anganwadi play school days, continued their educational journey together up to their M.Sc. in Industrial Chemistry. Their dedication and hard work were celebrated at the Mangalore University convocation held on June 15, where they were honored with medals presented by the Governor of Karnataka.
Bhagyalaxmi and Shilpa, who reside in adjacent houses in Bannur, Puttur, have maintained a healthy competition throughout their academic careers. This camaraderie and mutual support have been key factors in their shared success. Both friends expressed immense joy and pride in their accomplishments, celebrating the milestone with their families.
Currently, Bhagyalaxmi and Shilpa are employed at a private company, continuing their professional journey together. Their story is a testament to the power of friendship, perseverance, and the positive impact of a supportive environment.
