On the third day of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) Class 10 and 12 exams, six instances of malpractice were recorded across the state.

A dummy candidate was apprehended at a Class 10 exam center in Amreli, while students in Surendranagar and Junagadh were caught with mobile phones. Additionally, a cheating case was reported in Botad during the Class 12 Commerce exam.

Despite these incidents, students found the Class 10 Mathematics and Class 12 Science Chemistry papers easier than expected. Those who studied using textbooks and the board’s blueprint were particularly comfortable with the Class 10 Basic Mathematics exam. The Standard Mathematics paper followed a predictable pattern, though four to five multiple-choice questions (MCQs) posed a challenge.

Meanwhile, visually impaired students encountered difficulties with certain questions in the Class 10 Mathematics paper, raising concerns about accessibility.
