Mangaluru: Yenepoya Institute of Arts Science Commerce and Management (YIASCM), a constituent unit of Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), will inaugurate its Universal Human Values (UHV) Cell on March 23, 2026, at the YMK Auditorium, Kulur Campus.
The event will be inaugurated by N Santosh Hegde, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India, who will attend as the Chief Guest.
Focus on ethics and value-based education
Justice N Santosh Hegde, widely respected for his contributions to the judiciary, has also served as the Solicitor General of India and Lokayukta of Karnataka. His presence is expected to inspire students and faculty with insights on ethics, integrity, and good governance.
Strengthening universal human values
The establishment of the UHV Cell, guided by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), reflects YIASCM’s commitment to integrating universal human values into academic and campus life.
The initiative aims to nurture ethically responsible, socially conscious, and emotionally balanced individuals through structured programmes, workshops, and faculty development activities.
